Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc F. Scott Fitzgerald Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped information booklet. All three writing instruments are unused and are presented in virtually as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. All three have the limitation number 0754. The pencil has a fine crack in the inner black liner, which is common on this era of production - it doesn't affect its usage at all.
Launched in 2002, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition. The F.Scott Fitzgerald pays tribute to the legendary American novelist, with his most famous works including The Great Gatsby and This Side of Paradise.
With its shimmering mother-of-pearl resin barrel, contrasting black cap and AG925 sterling silver trim, this pen harks back to the roaring twenties and art-deco period. Engraved on the black resin is Fitzgerald’s signature.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib features a fine engraving of a 1920’s skyline. It’s a piston filling pen, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will be fitted with a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
