Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc F. Scott Fitzgerald Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped information booklet. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in essentially as new condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone. Only 18500 were produced and this is number 15456.
Launched in 2002, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition. The F.Scott Fitzgerald pays tribute to the legendary American novelist, with his most famous works including The Great Gatsby and This Side of Paradise.
With its shimmering mother-of-pearl resin barrel, contrasting black cap and AG925 sterling silver trim, this pen harks back to the roaring twenties and art-deco period. Engraved on the black resin is Fitzgerald’s signature.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib, which is engraved with a 1920’s skyline. It's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
