Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this ever wonderful and legendary Montblanc Writers Edition Ernest Hemingway Fountain Pen, which comes with its book-style Montblanc Presentation Box (including outer), personal service card and information booklets - confirming first purchase on 26th November 1992. The pen has never been inked and is presented in virtually as new condition.
The Montblanc Writers Limited Edition Ernest Hemingway pens need no introduction, but if you’re not familiar then here goes… every year Montblanc release a Writers Edition and the pen that started it all off, in 1992, was the Hemingway. There are so many reasons why this pen sits right at the top of many Montblanc fans wishlists… often they include the stunning Coral-hued barrel and dark brown resin cap, or the fact that it has so many nods to historical offerings from Montblanc The cap and clip are reminiscent of the pens that Montblanc were offering back in the 1930’s (the iconic 139!) and to many collectors you simply can’t get better than the historical offerings.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
