Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped information booklet - confirming first purchase on 16th August 1998. The fountain pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. The ballpoint and mechanical pencil are presented in overall fantastic condition. All three have the limitation number 0360.
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1998 they chose the legendary American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Famed for his tales of horror and the supernatural, the pen is crafted from a marbled midnight blue resin, with Victorian style ornamentation decorating the ring beneath the clip.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint comes with a new refill and the pencil has 0.9mm leads.
