Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 15th November 2006. The pen has never been inked and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 17000 were produced and this is number 15706.
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1998 they chose the legendary American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Famed for his tales of horror and the supernatural, the pen is crafted from a marbled midnight blue resin, with Victorian style ornamentation decorating the ring beneath the clip.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
