Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped information booklet - confirming first purchase on 5th August 2000. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in virtually as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. Only 17000 were produced and this is number 04266.
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1998 they chose the legendary American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Famed for his tales of horror and the supernatural, the pen is crafted from a marbled midnight blue resin, with Victorian style ornamentation decorating the ring beneath the clip.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
