Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. Only 17000 were produced and this is number 03000 - a great limitation number!
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 1998 they chose the legendary American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe. Famed for his tales of horror and the supernatural, the pen is crafted from a marbled midnight blue resin, with Victorian style ornamentation decorating the ring beneath the clip.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
