Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Antoine de Saint-Exupery Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and stamped information booklet. The pencil has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition. Only 1300 were produced and this is number 1044.
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 2017 they chose Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The dark blue resin compliments the platinum-coated trim perfectly. The design takes its inspiration from his famous aircraft and movel “Night Flight”. The engravings found on the pencil represent the night sky observed by him on 1st November 1929 at 11pm.
The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads and a partially used eraser.
