Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Antoine de Saint-Exupery Fountain Pen which comes with its book-style Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and stamped booklet – confirming first purchase on 26th September 2017. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in excellent condition. Only 9800 were produced and this is number 1777.
Every year since 1992 Montblanc have released a Writers Edition and in 2017 they chose Antoine de Saint-Exupery. The dark blue resin compliments the platinum-coated trim perfectly. The design takes its inspiration from his famous aircraft and movel “Night Flight”. The engravings found on the pencil represent the night sky observed by him on 1st November 1929 at 11pm.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
