Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer - some light wear to this) and information booklets. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition. Only 4810 pens were produced and this is number 2384.
Ever year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 1993 it was Agatha Christie.
This is one of our favourite Writers Edition, with this pen being the rare vermeil version of the Agatha Christie. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim and serpent clip being vermeil (gold-plating over sterling silver) - the serpents eyes are set with two sapphires.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
