Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc book-style presentation box (including outer - a little wear to this) and booklets. The pen has never been inked and is presented in virtually as new condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the barrel. Only 4810 pens were produced and this is number 3228.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers edition series. In 1993 it was Agatha Christie.
This is one of our favourite Writers Editions, with this pen being the rare vermeil version. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim and serpent clip being vermeil (gold-plating over sterling silver) - the serpents eyes are set with two sapphires.
The pen is fitted with a wonderful 18k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
