Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Vermeil Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and booklets. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in wonderful condition. Only 4810 pens were produced and this is number 4075.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 1993 it was Agatha Christie.
This is one of our favourite Writers Edition, with this pen being the rare vermeil version of the Agatha Christie. The pen is crafted from black resin, with the trim and serpent clip being vermeil (gold-plating over sterling silver) – the serpents eyes are set with two sapphires.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
