Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Agatha Christie Mechanical Pencil, which comes with a standard Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped service guide. The pencil has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the 0.7mm sticker remains on the barrel. Only 7000 pencils were produced and this is number 5235. The pencil was originally part of a set that was won by its original owner in 1993, as an award for being the top salesperson at their company.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 1993 it was Agatha Christie.
This is one of our favourite Writers Edition - the pencil is crafted from black resin, with the trim and serpent clip being sterling silver - the serpents eyes are set with two rubies.
The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads and an unused eraser.
