Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Bordeaux Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition.
The pen is crafted from Bordeaux resin with the trim being gold-coated. This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first-generation serial number, which is both shorter and in a different font - as such, it dates from 1991-92.
Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with a rarer 18k fine nib (so likely a French market pen originally) and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
