Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Starwalker Platinum Resin Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (including outer - some wear to this). The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
The platinum plated trim is bright and the black precious resin has a deep glow.
This is an interesting example, as it's from the very first era of Starwalker production. The reason we know this is that the serial number can be found on the side of the clip ring - shortly after production started, for this generation of Starwalker, they moved the serial number to the clip ring to make it more difficult from a counterfeit point of view. We have absolutely no doubts about its authenticity and these early pens tended to originate in just a few European markets.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it's a cartridge filler.
