Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Starwalker Blue Planet Metal Doue Rollerball / Fineliner Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and unstamped service guide. The pen has been regularly used, but is still presented in overall very good condition - there is an engraving of the initials RMW on the clip, but it's a very light engraving, so is less visible than most.
The Blue Planet Metal Doue features a metal guilloche barrel, finished in a translucent blue lacquer. The trim and section and cap are platinum-coated.
The look and feel of these newer Starwalker pens is a real treat and certainly a more contemporary version than the previous generation. On these, the serial number has reverted back to the side of the clip, rather than the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you'd rather use it as a fineliner, then you'd simply have to purchase the relevant refill - these are widely available online.
