Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Pix 172 Black Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box. The pencil has been lightly used over the decades and is presented in overall excellent condition.
Dating back to the 1950's, the Pix 72 pencils have a lovely character to them. Crafted from the familiar combination of black resin and gold-plated trim. It's a push button pencil, which reveals the 1.18mm leads and to fill up the leads you simply remove the push down button and fill from the top of the pencil. The gold fill to the 172 lettering on the barrel is still easily visible.
