Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Patron of Art 4810 Homage to Victoria 4810 Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and booklet - confirming first purchase on 30th May 2022. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition - the protective tape remains on the section and cone. As with other POA pens, only 4810 were produced and this is number 422.
In 2022, Montblanc honoured Queen Victoria & Prince Albert. This Victoria version celebrates the young Victoria - the barrel is finished in a pearlised white lacquer, with the cap shimmering with a mint green lacquer, which then has a Victorian pattern underneath. The shape of the clip is a nod to her sceptre, with the dark green synthetic stone reflecting her engagement ring.
The elaborate cap top is inspired by a royal crown, whilst the cap ring is engraved with the quote "I will be good".
The 18k medium nib has an engraving of a rose and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
