Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Muses Marlene Dietrich Commemoration Edition 1901 Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 1901 (her year of birth) were produced and this is number 0217.
This delightful Commemoration Edition is crafted from sterling silver, which is engraved with a guilloche design - this is in a herringbone pattern, which is a nod to a typical feature of her wardrobe. Originally released in 2007, the design is shaped to resemble her legendary trouser suit. The clip resembles a tie, with a sapphire sitting proudly at the top. The cap ring has 16 diamonds and there are further diamonds on the clip. Her signature is engraved on the cap.
The iconic Montblanc snowcap emblem is surrounded by mother-of-pearl.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a cartridge only filler.
