Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Meisterstück x Paris Olympics 146 LeGrand Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.
As part of the Meisterstuck centenary in 2024, they paid tribute to the Paris Olympics of 2024. Red was chosen as this was the official colour of the games, with the trim being gold-coated. The cap top ring is engraved with the Olympic Rings along with a wreath of leaves, which is a nod to the acolade given to victors. The cap is engraved with the words 'Olympic Games Paris 1924'.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib (engraved with a javelin thrower) and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
