Thanks for looking at our listing for this glorious Montblanc Meisterstuck LeGrand Solitaire Metal Le Petit Prince Aviator Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen remains sealed in its plastic pouch and is such is presented in neww condition.
This is the Solitaire Metal from the second part of the Le Petit Prince collection. It's inspired by the aviator aesthetic. This version was only produced as part of the two-pen Coffret set, so it's extremely rare to find it available separately - only 1943 were produced, with this being number 928.
The top of the cap featuring a sentence from the Le Petit Prince book and the yellow lacquered star can be found on the clip. The cap and barrel are platinum-coated with engraved images of the desert and the pilot's airplane. The Montblanc snowcap emblem is finished in mother-of-pearl, which is always a delightful addition.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
