Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition - the EF sticker, denoting an extra fine nib, remains on the barrel.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it's from 1991-92. We'd place it as 1991 as the clip ring also has W.Germany markings.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone extra fine nib (split ebonite) and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
