Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen was serviced by Montblanc in March 2026, where the barrel was also replaced. The remainder of the pen is presented in overall excellent condition.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it's from 1991-92.... likely 1991, as it also has a W.Germany clip ring marking.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone medium nib (latest feed, replaced during the service) and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
