Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Around The World in 80 Days Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer - a little wear to this), soft pouch and stamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone
The pen is crafted from a dark blue resin, with ruthenium trim, and this model takes inspiration from the final part of his journey... where he travelled from Yokahama to London in 36 days. The cap design includes pressure valves and billowing clouds of smoke from a locomotive. The trim is engraved with a safety chain design, which is a nod to the moment when Passepartout disconnects the train from the locomotive to save the crew. The clip has a red lacquered hear.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
