Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand Around the World in 80 Days Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and information booklet - confirming first purchase on 6th January 2022. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.
The pen is crafted from blue resin with the trim being platinum-coated. This edition takes its inspiration from the first part of the journey, with him travelling from London to Bombay. The cap features a milled pattern, with the design including ocean waves, card suits and a laser engraved cartouche of a steam boat. The cap top is embossed with the length of the journey, which was 18 days.
The pen is fitted with a 14k broad nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
