Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Great Masters LeGrand James Purdey & Sons Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outer - a small amount of wear to this) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 18th August 2020. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition - the protective tape still remains on the section. We've also included a sealed Montblanc Purdey Notebook.
Part of the Great Masters series, this pen pays tribute to James Purdey & Sons, with the result being an incredibly handsome writing instrument.
The pen is crafted from walnut wood, which is then engraved with Purdey checkering and casted metal inlays. The trim is ruthenium-coated and the mother-of-pearl snowcap really sets off the whole look of the pen.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
