Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 144 Classique Barley Sterling Silver Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition - the nib sticker remains on the barrel but the text has faded.
The pen is crafted from sterling silver and it is engraved with a delicate barley pattern. The trim is gold-plated. It's an easy pen to date as it has the first-generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) along with W.Germany clip ring markings, which confirms this as a 1991-92 pen.
The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone broad nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
