Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Around The World in 80 Days Doue Ballpoint Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (including outer). The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition - there are a few very light marks on the section.
This model takes inspiration from the second part of his journey. Riding an elephant, he travelled from Bombay to Yokahama in 25 days. The barrel is finished in an anthracite lacquer, with the cap being gold-coated and featuring an engraved pattern with Indian, Chinese and Japanese inspirations symoblising good luck. The cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewellery, with the clip featuring a lacquered diamond suit card. The cap features a laser engraved elephant cartouche.
The pen is fitted with an 18k double broad nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
