Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück Classique Around The World in 80 Days Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the cone.
The pen is crafted from an anthractive resin and this model takes inspiration from the second part of his journey. Riding an elephant, he travelled from Bombay to Yokahama in 25 days. The cone is engraved with a pattern inspired by Princess Aouda's jewellery, with the clip featuring a lacquered diamond suit casrd. The cap features a laser engraved elephant cartouche.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
