Thanks for looking at our listing for this Montblanc 165 Classique Solitaire Citrine Mechanical Pencil, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped service guide. The pencil has barely been used and is presented in overall fantastic condition.
The citrine pencils are now very hard to come by as they were only produced for a limited period of time.
The citrine features an almost pale gold plated barrel and trim, with the cap then being adorned with a wonderful citrine lacquer. These examples offer a completely different look to the other solitaire offerings and really are the perfect combination of bright but never brash.
The appropriate Germany and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring, along with the word METAL which was used by Montblanc for Doue and Solitaire writing instruments.
The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads and has an unused eraser.
