Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montbanc Meisterstuck 161 LeGrand Silver Barley Diamond Ballpoint Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer), diamond certificate, polishing cloth and stamped service guide - confirming first purchase on 6th September 2010. The pen has barely been used and is presented in virtually as new condition.
The Silver Barley as a model is one of the rarest non-limited edition Solitaire offerings... in ballpoint form it becomes even rarer, as Montblanc simply don't produce LeGrand sized solitaires outside of a very few select models.
It's crafted from sterling silver, which is then engraved with a guilloche design. The iconic Montblanc snowcap shimmers in mother-of-pearl and a diamond is set on the clip. The trim is platinum plated.
The pen is fitted with a new refill and both Germany and serial number markings can be found on the clip ring.
