Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this extremely rare Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 UNICEF Power to Write 'S R Nathan' Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (some wear to the lining) and bottle of ink. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
Montblanc have a long association with UNICEF and in 2007 they released the "Power to Write" series. These pens (released in small numbers) feature an engraved signature, on the cap, from different UNICEF ambassadors - this example has the signature of S R Nathan, who was the former President of Singapore.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k tri-tone medium nib and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
