Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and information leaflet. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in excellent condition - a couple of very small marks on the clip.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. It features a two-piece barrel, first generation plastic feed, 14k bi-tone nib and Germany only clip ring markings. The addition of black plastic piston threads, would place this around 1985, but the first-generation feed puts it more around 1990... we'd suggest that it originated from around 1985 but then had a service in the early 90's, where the feed was replaced.
The pen is fitted with an fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
