Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Montblanc presentation box (including outers), bottle of ink and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 20th December 2002. The pen was only dipped to test (likely by the original retailer, as the owner confirmed it was an unused gift) and as such is presented in essentially as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel. This era of 149 is a real delight, as the packaging and presentation is so much more of an experience than the current smaller offering.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Both serial number and Germany markings can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with an 18k tri-tone medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
