Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly used but is still presented in overall good condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. The pen has a number of featuresd to help date the pen, including split ebonite feed, two-piece barrel, Germany only clip ring marking, brass piston threads and bi-tone 14k nib. These features place it between 1985-90, but the cap ring marking likely places towards the earlier part of this range.
The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
