Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in lovely condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. This is a relatively easy pen to date, as it has a early style plastic feed, two-piece barrel, brass piston threads and bi-tone 18k nib. These features coupled with the very first-generation serial number (shorter and in a different font - numbers only), dates this to 1991.
The pen is fitted with an extra fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
