Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it's from 1991-92. A number of features also confirm the production span for this pen, including a first-generation plastic feed, brass piston threads and 18k bi-tone nib.
The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
The important details are as follows...
- 18k Bi-Tone Medium Nib
- IZODS Presentation Box
- Serial Number markings present
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller.
