Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly used over the years, so some light usage marks, but overall it's presented in very good condition.
This is a straightforward pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) along with W.Germany markings - thus placing it as a 1991 pen. The additional features of first generation plastic feed, 18k bi-tone nib, two-piece barrel and brass threads all support this.
The pen is fitted with a fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
