Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The combination of 14k bi-tone nib, split ebonite feed, black piston threads and two-piece barrel, date this as a 1985 pen. Realistically it may have been a year or so later due to remaining parts, but it gives a very good indication.
The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
