Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and booklet. The pen has never been inked and is presented in wonderful condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the barrel.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. This pen originally dates from 1985, with it featuring black piston threads, split ebonite feed, two-piece barrel and Germany clip ring markings - there is a chance it dates from a year or so later due to remaining parts, but it's going to be very close to 1985 if not precisely that year.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
