Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in lovely condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only W.Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. This is a relatively easy pen to date, as it has a split ebonite feed, two-piece barrel, black piston threads and bi-tone 14k nib - placing it as a 1985 example. Obviously there was likely overlap with remaining parts, so it could be a year or so later.
The pen is fitted with a fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
