Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box (some light wear to this). The pen has been lightly used over the decades and is presented in overall fantastic condition - there is a little bit of rhodium-plating wear on the nib, but this doesn't affect its usage.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The combination of split ebonite feed, black piston threads, 14c bi-tone nib and one-piece barrel, date this between 1975-85.
The pen is fitted with a broad nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows...
