Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen is presented in overall lovely condition - there is some residue on the section (shown in the photos) and a very fine crack at the base of the cap, but these don't affect the pens usage.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The combination of solid ebonite feed, black piston threads, 14c bi-tone nib and one-piece barrel, date this between 1972-75.
The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
