Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box and leaflet. The pen has been lightly used over the decades and is presented in overall fantastic condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The combination of solid ebonite feed, black piston threads and one-piece barrel, date this between 1969-75. The addition of the 18c tri-tone nib, likely means that it's towards the earlier part of this date window.
The pen is fitted with an extra fine nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
