Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. Only W.Germany markings can be found on the clip ring. The combination of 18k bi-tone nib, first generation plastic feed, brass piston threads and 2-piece barrel, place this between 1990-94... but with the lack of serial number, we'd suggest this is a 1990 pen.
The pen is fitted with a medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
