Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 Gold-Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall lovely condition.
The pen dates from around 1990, with it having a two-piece barrel, split ebonite feed and 18k bi-tone nib. The black threads on the piston would suggest earlier, but this is simply likely to be a case of some parts remaining prior to the brass threads becoming standard.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k bi-tone medium nib and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
