Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 147 Traveller Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc black leather Traveller pouch, Montblanc presentation box and stamped service guide - confirming first purchase on 20th January 1997. The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition - the six original 'gold' cartridges can still be found inside the pouch.
The 147 Traveller, if you're not familiar with it, is a LeGrand (146) sized fountain pen, but the filling system is cartridge only. It's a very clever design, as to load the cartridges you simply unscrew the end of the pen, which then reveals an internal metal holding cage, where you can then slot in the cartridges.
The serial number can be found on the clip ring.
The pen is fitted with a 14k medium bi-tone nib and it's a cartridge only filler.
