Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and unstamped booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the B sticker, denoting a broad nib, remains on the barrel. This was a prize given to the original owner back in the early 1990s, which was never used and was simply kept in its box until now.
This is a simple pen to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font), so it's from 1991-92. The clip ring also features W.Germany markings.
The pen is fitted with a 14k bi-tone broad nib and it's a piston filling pen, which means that bottled ink is your choice here.
