Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 LeGrand Gold Coated Fountain Pen, which comes with a Montblanc presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used over the years, and is presented in very good condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-coated. It's also simple to date, as it features the first generation serial number (shorter and in a different font) - which confirms it as a 1991-92 pen.
The pen is fitted with an 18k oblique broad nib (likely originally supplied to the French market) and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
