Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück 146 LeGrand 75th Anniversary Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) The pen remains factory sealed, so is presented in new condition - to show you some of the details, we've included photos of a Classique that we've previously sold, but this sealed example is the larger LeGrand version. Only 1924 were produced and this is number 0015.
The 75th anniversary writing instruments were released in 1999 to commemorate 75 years of the Meisterstuck range (launched in 1924). There were two main editions available of most models, one being the unlimited yellow gold ‘special edition’ pens and then the rose gold ‘limited edition’ pens, of which only 1924 examples were produced. This is the red gold limited edition version.
To distinguish these anniversary editions from the usual offerings, you’ll find a second gold band around the top of the clip, in which is mounted a diamond and the inscription ’75 years of passion and soul’ – with the diamond being the ‘o’ in passion.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
